Parking
There are several parking lots in Marymoor Park. Parking is $1/day and can be paid via pay stations at each lot. They accept exact change (dollar bills) at all pay stations. Credit card is accepted at one station that is unfortunately located furthest from the field entrance.
Player Check-In
Players should check-in at the Headquarters tent (located between Fields 1 & 4) to pick-up game balls, tournament programs, and additional info prior to the first game.

Tournament Rules
This is designed to be a fun and safe tournament. The rules are FIH with just a few exceptions that are designed to reduce chance of injury and to keep things social (not competitive).
Additionally, if a game is getting lopsided in scoring, be creative to make things more fun. Work with the other team to switch a couple players around or throw in sticks to mix up teams.

Medical Tent
There will be a physical therapist available all weekend to provide first aid and assess injuries.
Insurance
This is a USFHA sanctioned event and every registered player is covered under the event insurance.
Food Trucks and Beer
Food trucks will be available on both days. There will be a beer tent on Saturday and Sunday and will be located near parking Lot I at the Velo Shelter from 10am – 5pm.
Drink tickets can be purchased using credit card. Beer, cider, and wine will be available.
*Please note there is no outside beer allowed at the fields.

Nearby Stores
Whole Foods, Fred Meyer, QFC, Trader Joes, and Costco are located outside of Marymoor Park near the fields.
Saturday Evening Social
The Saturday social will be held in Seattle at Art Marble 21 from 7pm – 11pm.
Each registered player receives a dinner ticket with registration. Additional tickets for guests will be available for $20.

Tournament Rules
This is designed to be a fun and safe tournament. The rules are FIH with just a few exceptions that are designed to reduce chance of injury and to keep things social (not competitive).
- No hitting - anything with a back-swing is not allowed. This includes sweep hits.
- No lifting - anything higher than shinguard height is not allowed. No aerials, scoops, chip shots.
- No short corners - in lieu of short corners there will be shootouts with an old-timey hockey stick (8 seconds allowed). In mixed leagues, a team will alternate between men and women taking the shootouts.
- Long corners will be taken at the half line.
- No score keeping - there is no championship, no pool position, no points being recorded. We're playing to have fun and for the love of the game.

- Water: there are water fountains near the fields and there will be additional water stations provided.
- WiFi: there is free WiFi available at the fields.
- Seating: there are bleachers at the fields; you are welcome to bring a folding chair and tent too
