INSURANCE NOTE: All players are encouraged to be a member of USA Field Hockey. We will be asking all registered players to acknowledge if they are members prior to and at the tournament. All non-members will still have insurance coverage for the SFHS because this tournament is a USAFH sanctioned event and we will cover insurance sanctioning fees for non-members.
However, we encourage all USA players to support USA Field Hockey by purchasing an annual membership.

Registration FAQs
1. I want to register a team, but we are short a few players. Can you help us find players to complete our team?
Yes! Please register your team and you will only have to pay for the number of players you currently have. We will be able to place individual players on your team. Share this information in the "Notes" section of the Team registration form.
2. I do not have a team and want to play in the tournament. How can I participate?
Register as an Individual and we will assign you to a team or teams (if choosing to play in two divisions).
3. Can I play on two teams?
Yes! Aanyone can play on two teams as long as each team is in a different division. For example: one team is in the Mixed division and the other is in the Women's division.
4. Is there a price difference if I play on more than one team?
No. The registration fee is $60 per person, regardless of whether a person plays on two teams or one team. There is no separate team registration fee, so all team players will be charged per person, instead of per team.
5. I am not a certified field hockey referee. Can I still ref games?
Yes! This is a social tournament without scoring. All referees will meet on Saturday morning before their first games to discuss the rules and expectations. See the rules (above) to familiar yourself with the social nature of this tournament. We welcome any player to try umpiring a game and aim to make it a low-pressure experience.
6. My team captain has submitted registration for one division (e.g. Mixed), but I also want to play in another division (e.g. Men's) and do not have a team. How can I register?
Submit the Individual registration form if you would like to be placed on a team in another division. To avoid being asked to pay twice, on the Individual registration form, share the name of the team that has already registered you.
7. Do I have to purchase separate insurance for this tournament?
No. This is a USA Field Hockey (USAFH) sanctioned event. This means that Seattle Field Hockey Social (SFHS) pays a sanctioning fee and a player fee for all non-USAFH members, so everyone is covered under the USAFH insurance. However, we are asking all USAFH members to provide their membership IDs by the end of the tournament so SFHS does not have to pay for already insured USAFH members.
8. What is included in my $60 registration fee?
The registration fee includes Saturday and Sunday tournament games for participation on up to two teams. It also includes one dinner ticket for the Saturday Evening Social. Medical staff will be onsite both days.
9. If I register for two teams, will any of my games overlap?
Our schedule guru has a great system for making the tournament schedule. While we cannot guarantee you won't have a game that overlaps or will have a back-to-back game, we do our best to accomodate the schedule to people playing on two teams.
